CHAIRMAN: Brigadier Tweedie Brown CBE
Tweedie Brown CBE has been involved in various aspects of business since he left the Army in 2004 as a Brigadier General. He saw service mainly in Europe at the height of the Cold War and was Deputy Chief of Staff British Sector Berlin during the Fall of the Wall. Towards the end of his military career his appointments included CEO of Defence Postal and Courier Services, Commander of the Defence Logistics Training Group and Chief of Staff to the Adjutant General. He was a Director at the Army Benevolent Fund for a year and was an advisor to Ministers on Executive Agencies and quality initiatives in Government. His passion for ice cream is well known and is a great supporter of new business initiatives. He is a Trustee of Housing Heroes, catering to the housing needs of ex-members of HM Forces. He was awarded an OBE in 1993 and a CBE in 2003.

One of the original founders of “Cream & Country ice cream”, Mark spent 18 years working as a chef at Buxted Park in Ashdown Forest and Ockenden Manor in Cuckfield amongst others. His passion for ice cream is legendary creating amongst other flavours English Sparking Wine with Elderflower Sorbet and Rhubarb and Stem Ginger.
